By ski bus from Schnann to St. Anton

2 min read · October 2026

Yes, you can get from Schnann to the slopes of St. Anton am Arlberg without a car. In winter a free ski bus runs between Flirsch and St. Christoph, with stops in Schnann, Pettneu and St. Anton. According to the Arlberg tourism website, the ski area is 8 to 12 minutes from Schnann.

Who rides for free

The ski bus is free for winter sports guests: anyone in ski clothing who travels to or from the lifts. Guests with the St. Anton guest card ride free on lines 1 to 9 during the day until 19:00. Between Flirsch and St. Anton, skiers take the ski bus lines 7 to 9 and not the regional bus 270, so that there is room for everyone. For trips that have nothing to do with skiing, such as shopping, you need a normal VVT ticket. Night buses are not free.

How often it runs

In high season the ski bus runs every 15 minutes at peak times. The detailed winter timetable for 2026/27 was not yet online on 24 October 2026. It will appear on the timetable page of St. Anton am Arlberg. Check it before you travel.
