Is St. Anton expensive?

2 min read · October 2026

St. Anton am Arlberg is not a cheap ski resort, but a week there can stay affordable. The lift pass is the largest fixed cost. According to Salzburg24 (24 September 2026), a main season day pass at Ski Arlberg costs €85 for the coming winter. On 24 October 2026 Ski Arlberg had not yet published its official prices for 2026/27.

Where you can save

Accommodation, food and transport are the costs you can steer yourself. You do not have to sleep in St. Anton: the free ski bus stops in Schnann, and according to the Arlberg tourism website the ski area is 8 to 12 minutes away. With your own kitchen you decide when to eat out and when to cook. Sharing a larger apartment helps too. Hoher Riffler sleeps six from €410 per night in winter, which is about €68 per person per night before final cleaning.
