The first snow on the Arlberg

The first snow is falling on the peaks around Schnann. According to the forecast, the snow line drops to around 1,600 metres in the days after 21 October. The mountains turn white, and the quietest time of year begins in the Stanzertal.
The ski season in St. Anton am Arlberg starts on 2 December 2026 and runs until 18 April 2027. Until then, the paths belong to walkers: clear air, the first white peaks and hardly anyone around. Once the snow reaches the valley, it is time for winter walks.
